[AUDIO] ‘Onime’ – Francis Ogude

Nigerian talented music minister, singer, Songwriter,Vocalist and guitarist Francis Ogude has released another new single titled “Onime”. The word Onime is an Isoko word meaning ” My Mother”

According to the singer, the song is in honor of his mother and all mothers out there.

It is a song born out of appreciation for his mother for being a mother indeed; and for all that she went through and stood for. ‘Onime’ emphasizes the bond that existed between his mother and him. It describes mother as the salt of life.

With years of experience in music journey which dated back to the 80s and service as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the defunct Black Identity Band in the early 90s, Francis Ogude has proven to be a lover of good music no matter the genre and this fact is evident in this new song.

It is good to honor mothers in whatever condition the singer says, because mothers have no duplicate.

The song is produced by Elda, a veteran in the music industry.

They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.
