Contemporary Gospel Musician, SUPERSEYI is wrapping up the year in a grand style with the release of his much-anticipated debut album “Open Door” on Tuesday 31st December 2024.
The 10-track album explores the themes of gratitude, faith declaration, breakthrough, prayer, mercy, hope and total dependence on God’s redemptive and transformative power.
Inspired by his journey of faith, OPEN DOORS explores several music genres ranging from Afrobeats to Pop Soul, blending soul-stirring lyrics with the infectious rhythms of Afropop, Dancehall, Highlife, Folk music and elements of Contemporary Gospel music, creating a unique sound that appeals to the spirit, soul and body. The album takes listeners on a heartfelt journey, with each track telling a story of hope, faith and deep unshakeable trust in God, riding on captivating melodies and groovy beats.
“This album is a reflection of my journey with God, I wrote each song and produced the album for everyone like me who believes that there is more in God ahead for them and that the best of their life’s story is yet to come,” SuperSeyi says.
Tracks from the album include fresh songs like ‘Amaze’, ‘Ireoluwa’, ‘Don’t Let Me Fall’, ‘Surulere’, ‘The Declaration’, ‘All Things New’, ‘One Call’, remastered versions of already released tracks like ‘Blessings’, ‘The Sun Will Rise’ plus a remix version of his hit track ‘Ilekunashi-II’
OPEN DOORS will be available on all major music streaming platforms from 31st December 2024.
