[DOWNLOAD] ‘Mercy’ – Aby | Prod. by Ayotunde Onabolu

Ayotunde Onabolu just produced the sophomore single for Aby titled ‘Mercy’.

Mercy was mixed and mastered by specialist mastering engineer Chris Graham in the US. The Global release is set for Good Friday, on all major music streaming and download platforms.

‘Mercy’ is themed after the Catholic 3’oclock prayers to the Divine Mercy and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. It’s a profound prayer that enables us to:

“Acknowledge God as our Merciful Savior and Source
Acknowledge our own sinfulness and offer the blood of Jesus in atonement for our sins
Intercede for the world
Call to mind JESUS’ passion and resurrection which enables God to have Mercy on us”

ABOUT
Aby is a Nigerian singer with over 12 years experience in choral, classical and contemporary singing. Her music is largely influenced by her life experiences. Mercy is a song that was composed after a period of staying in God’s waiting room for a while. Her Dr had diagnosed her with hormonal imbalance which in turn lead to a difficulty in getting pregnant. A condition that could have made her unable to carry a pregnancy full-term even if she got pregnant. But thanks be to God, that’s history now.

Before getting into the music scene as a recording artist, Aby was a member of Demola Olota’s D’Clique Vocals, she was also the Choirmaster at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Gbagada, Lagos and a chorister with The Catholic Church of Divine Mercy, Lekki, Lagos.

A previous release of her’s titled Abba Father was met with a warm reception by her fans. It was given a thumbs up on 360nobs with the following statement “On ‘Abba Father’, Elysian chills are been let loose as ‘ABY’ sings praises at the top of her voice to the ‘King of Kings’.
