Soldiers Allegedly Invade Catholic Church During Morning Mass in Anambra, Shoot Worshippers


The soldiers invaded a Catholic Church in Nkpor, near Onitsha, Anambra State.
 
According to News Express, the invasion took place early yesterday morning as people were participating in Mass.
 
The mission of the soldiers is yet unknown.
 
Several reports from the area said several worshippers were shot dead but News Express reports that only two people appeared to have been killed in the shooting.
 
The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, has been contacted via text message and WhatsApp but he has not given a response yet.
