Gospel music minister, Baptista, releases her long-awaited album, “I Won,” in commemoration of her birthday.
The album is a powerful testimony of faith, resilience, and divine victory.
Recorded between 2023 and 2025, the album was birthed through seasons of loss, waiting, and intense personal trials, including the loss of twins, the disappearance of her sister Motunrayo Tolulope Baptist, family health challenges, and financial hardship. These experiences shaped the heart of the project, turning pain into praise and adversity into worship.
Baptista shares that when she stopped striving, God intervened, stirring the heart of Oluwafemi Aborisade to shoot the “I Won” music video, reaffirming her conviction that God never abandoned her journey.
“I Won” marks the end of a dark season and the beginning of restored joy and strength,” she says. “Every song declares that God never failed and remains in control.”
The album features seven tracks, including Modupe, Joy, F.O.G. (Focus on God), Ginger, and Yea & Amen featuring Dr D.K. Olukoya. Production credits include Orbs, Fabulous, and Sanmi Matthew.
