Nigerian-American gospel artist, Onome Ovwori (popularly known as Mr. O), is gearing up to release a brand-new single titled “Osivwi” (pronounced “Oh-See-We”).
“Osivwi” is an Urhobo word from Nigeria’s Niger Delta region, meaning “My Redeemer”. The song draws inspiration from Apostle Paul’s letter to the Galatians (Galatians 3:13) and is a heartfelt declaration of Christ’s redemptive power.
This powerful track features the gifted Minister Tomi Favored, whose interpretation, style, and anointing elevated the song to a level beyond imagination. Speaking about the collaboration, Onome shares, “It was such an honour to have Min Tomi Favored on the song. Her delivery and grace brought a depth I couldn’t have comprehended.”
Recorded live at the B.O.W. Conference in Agape House, Roselle, New Jersey, “Osivwi” (audio and video) is set to release on Friday, November 22nd, across all major streaming platforms.
