The Aso Rock Villa Chapel yesterday organised a thanksgiving service for the return of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The service, attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo, was led by the chaplain of the Chapel, Pastor Oluseyi Malomo.
The service was also attended by representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).
The Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mr Laolu Akande, told our correspondent that the Chapel had consistently prayed for Buhari’s speedy recovery and safe return to the country.
“And now that Mr President has returned to the country, the service was held to thank God for bringing him back safely,” Akande stated.
President Buhari returned to the country on Friday after spending 50 days in the United Kingdom where he underwent treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
