Carol teaches people how to appreciate God

Gospel music diva, Carol Franklyn is bursting on the big stage with the launch of her debut CD, Heaven @ Last, which comes up in Lagos on December 11, 2010.
Carol, whose love for music started from her teenage years in Gospel Youth Ministry International, Enugu, boasts of a vast repertoire of gospel hits. She has also collaborated with reputable gospel artistes like ACHO who is signed to Got Beats Records in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
The fast-rising gospel singer, song writer and author of yet-to-be published books dubbed her music ‘Good Music’ because her desire is to sing and restore hope to the hopeless, and while spreading the message of salvation, use her songs to teach people how to appreciate God.
For inspiration, Carol acknowledges Holy Spirit. She also derives inspiration from the word of God and other people’s cum personal experiences. She states: ‘I write down all the rhymes I get from the word of God. As I discern them, I turn them into melodious tunes. Music equally comes to me through meditations especially when I am having my quiet time. Sometimes, when I am reading some devotionals, inspiration starts flowing because I am connected to my source.’
On why she entitles her 10-track CD Heaven @ Last, Carol says her wish for everybody is to make heaven. ‘I love the title song, Heaven @ Last because it makes both the singer and listener to think about eternity. It reminds me that there is a one-stop avenue for everybody, I mean, every Tom, Dick and Harry. It teaches about leaving good legacy because that’s only what we’ll be remembered for after this earthly sojourn. That’s why I am wishing everybody to make Heaven at Last.
The graduate of Mass Communication and Marketing is under the management of Munachi Productions on whose label, Munachi Music, Heaven @ Last, will be released, while it will be marketed by Udoworld Music. The CD parades hits like Heaven We Dey Go, Best Thing To Me ft. Gbenga, Idima Idi Ukwa, Imela Papa, and Work By Faith. Others are Jesus is Lord, Falling in Love with Jesus ft. Gbenga, Best Thing To Me (remix), Work by Faith (remix) and Heaven We Dey Go (remix).
Prince Paul Enejo, CEO, Munachi Productions says all the songs in Heaven @ Last are soul lifting and will give listeners value for their money. ‘All the songs in the CD are soul lifting and full of inspiration. With Heaven @ Last, I can assure listeners of getting value for their money. The songs will also give hope to the hopeless and salvation to the lost souls,’ he assures.
