As Nigeria prepares for her 55th independence anniversary, the Believer Love world (aka Christ Embassy) has urged Nigerians to seek God’s intervention in the fight against terrorism, corruption, violent crime and other evils plaguing the country.
At an event to mark the anniversary which the church said it would celebrate by distributing one million copies of its popular literature, Rapsody of Realities in Benin City, Benin Zone 1 of the church said the cost of the literature to be distributed would amount to N200 million.
Chairman of the committee, Deacon Vincent Agenmonmen, disclosed that founder of the church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome got the vision from God in 2007 to begin the first and privately sponsored annual national campaign to mark the country’s independence which is dedicated to building and promoting a patriotic spirit in all Nigerians.
Speaking on the theme of this year campaign: “Dawning a New Nation,” Agenmonmen said: “God’s word can stop the scourge of terrorism, armed robbery, kidnapping, corruption and inefficiency that have plagued the nation.
“At a time when our nation is experiencing a socio-economic rebirth, nothing is more vital in promoting sound values, and security than the Word of God. God is the universal cure for every challenge and difficulty. ”
