Grace is as broad as describing the whole of God’s activity towards man. Grace is love that seeks you out when you have nothing to give in return. Grace is love coming at you that has nothing to do with you. It is being loved when you are unlovable. The cliché definition of grace is “unconditional love”. It is a true cliché, for it is a good description of the thing.
1 Corinthians 15:10 Paul writes; “But by the grace of God, I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain”. God is unfailing; he is faithful and kind in all. Paul writes in Romans 5:8; “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.
May the grace of our Lord abide with us all.
