Veteran Juju musician, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey, has transitioned from being a musician to being an academician. Chief Ebenezer Obey was made a Professor of Music at the Olabisi Onabanjo University. The veteran was honoured during the week at the Otunba Gbenga Daniel Hall, Main Campus of the institution by Professor Saburi Adejin Adesanya. Dignitaries present at the ceremony included the Alake of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo; the Osile of Oke-Ona, Oba Adedapo Tejuosho; and Iyalode Alaba lawson. Obey is expected to be a visiting artiste in the school’s Department of English and Performing Arts and to lecture students on Music.
