Nigerian Gospel vocalist, Liatu Aweh, has unveiled her latest Extended Play (EP) entitled “Yabo Hills,” translating to “Praise Hills” in the Hausa Language of the Northern region of Nigeria.
This compilation comprises an array of Contemporary Praise songs, gracefully sung in both English and Hausa. Imbued with urban instrumentation, the EP infuses an Afrocentric essence with subtle Pop undertones.
Notably, tracks like “Sarai, Sarai (Remix),” “Mai Ceto Na,” and “God of Power” resonate with their captivating cross-genre harmonies.
Liatu Aweh, a distinguished Nigerian Gospel Artist, Songwriter, and Worship Leader, masterfully interweaves the Hausa and English languages in her melodies, crafting lyrics that inspire. Raised in Plateau state and educated in Northern Nigeria, her musical journey began with her profound faith in her childhood years. Growing up within a Christian household, she discovered her vocal prowess and an abiding passion for Gospel music – a source of solace, rejuvenation, and empowerment.
Married to Pastor Prince Michael, their union is blessed with a daughter, fortifying her journey as both an artist and a devoted family woman.
