Kumuyi holds crusade at Abuja stadium, preaches dialogue

The General Superintendent (GS) Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, has urged dialogue over the agitation for restructuring of the country.
This comes as he kicks off the ‘Night of Extraordinary Wonders’ crusade at the National Stadium, Abuja, today.
The renowned and international gospel preacher told journalists at a press conference held in the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, yesterday, that God has prepared and made all blessings ready for various participants at the crusade. He added that the crusade will be explosive with miracles and impactful on Abuja residents.
Over 100, 000 people are expected to be at the National Stadium from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and its neighbouring states this evening. The GS also assured people in the FCT about God’s mighty visitation and touch upon their life during the one-day crusade.
He said: “There would be great wonders during this crusade and that is why we tagged it ‘Night of Extraordinary Wonders’. It will bring blessings to the people of the Federal Capital Territory and the country at large.”
Speaking on the clamour for on restructuring and religious issues affecting the country, he urged Nigerians not to lose hope in the country.
The renowned clergyman urged agitating groups to bring their reasons and expectations to the table so that everybody will sit down to listen and consider each other’s opinions instead of throwing ‘stones’ at each other.
Kumuyi said the type of restructuring Nigerians should clamour for should not be for breaking the country into fragments where visas will be required for citizens to enter the various geopolitical zones; but a way to strengthen the unity of the country. Therefore, he recommended dialogue and consultations via referendum or panel to peacefully resolve crisis and to keep the nation as an entity.
On the Anchor University the Deeper Life Bible Church proposed to establish, the Pastor explained that the Church has been on it disclosing that officials of the Nigerian University Commission (NUC), had visited the proposed campus for inspection, and expressed hope that university will eventually take-off.
