A 72-year-old man, Fidelis Uhuo of Ugalaba village in Umuoghara Ezza North local government area of Ebonyi State has been murdered and his body found around a church in the neighbourhood.
The state Public Relations officer, ASP George Okafor who disclosed this to newsmen, said, “It was on the 2nd of May that information got to the police that one Fidelis Uhuo of Ugalaba village of Umuoghara was murdered by one Chukwuka Ben of same address, and we moved into action.
Our intelligent officers who handled the matter recovered the corpse of the deceased at the premises of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and later arrested the suspect who is helping the command to unravel the circumstances of the case.”
