The Abia State Police Command has identified two pastors in Aba, the state’s commercial nerve centre as members of a syndicate that specialised in the snatching, purchase and sale of stolen vehicles. They are Princewill Nnabugwu and Patrick Onu.
While Onu is at large, Nnabugwu is in police net and is currently undergoing interrogation.
Onu, was implicated in the sale of a Toyota Sienna bus with Registration No YG.836 ENU, believed to have been bought by one Fidelis Eze.
On interrogation by the police, Mr Eze, claimed that he bought the vehicle from somebody who was introduced to him by one Pastor Nnabugwu of the Apostolic Church, Aba.
The Abia State police commissioner, Ibrahim Adamu who disclosed this to newsmen in Umuahia, said that following the report of the stolen vehicle, his men swooped on Pastor Nnabugwu and discovered “another Toyota Camry car with fake Registration No. Aba 679XA.
