Rev Father Ejike Mbaka, has today met President Muhammadu Buhari

Outspoken popular Enugu Catholic priest and the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry in Enugu, Rev Father Ejike Mbaka, has today met President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock villa.

Popular Enugu Catholic priest, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, who openly threw support for President Muhammadu Buhari during the last presidential elections, has finally met him today at the Aso rock presidential villa in Abuja.

It can be recalled that before his fierce attack on former president, Goodluck Jonathan, the renowned Priest, was a supporter of the Bayelsa man and even endorsed him for the second term.

In November 2014 Fr. Mbaka welcomed the former First Lady, Patience Jonathan, the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and others to his Enugu parish. He told Mama Peace that her husband had ‘done well’ and deserved another tenure at the Aso Rock.

On New Year’s eve of 2015, the outspoken priest delivered a prophetic message that shook the country. He said Goodluck Jonathan would fail in the presidential election.

His prophetic declaration allegedly led to the fallout in the relationship with Fr. Mbaka and Goodluck Jonathan, and ever since then, the priest has at different times, openly declared his support for Buhari.

Few months later, President Buhari commended the fiery priest for his patriotism in the run-up to the 2015 general elections, saying his courage has earned him a mark in the sands of time.

The clergyman who was accompanied by four men, met with Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and later told State House correspondents that he visited the President in order to commit the nation into God’s hand.

He expressed the conviction that after the storm, God would restore sanity to the country.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
