The God Consciousness
Hebrew Chapter 11 : 8

Text: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is and He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

What is your reality?

The statement “he is” in this context which means that God exits, can also be seen as “he is real.” That is God is real, as a matter of fact; no one can ever seek what he does not consider real to him, in other words one seeks his reality.

REALITY: It is simply a thing that is actually experienced or seen by an individual.  In a simply term; you are your reality or what is real to you. One can also say that reality is what you are conscious of or what defines your consciousness. No matter your confessions and professions in life you are what you are conscious of, or simply put, you are what is real to you. “The bible says, as a man thinketh in his heart so he is”

Anything that has gotten hold of your heart is your reality.

There are 3 things that define the consciousness or what is real to a man:
1. His faith: Convictions
2. His Trust: Commitment
3. His Beliefs: Stand

FACTS
You must understand that you don’t really see with your eyes, you see with your mind. The eyes can download the signal to your mind, then that which you have seen becomes real to you because the mind has deciphered it. When one is born again, the power of our regenerated spirit through the power of the Holy Spirit, Our minds become enlightened to decipher the deep things of the spirit. The bible calls it “the mind of Christ” simply put, the mind becomes conscious of spiritual reality.

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Job 32:8

The Spirit Itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Rom 8:16.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. Eph 1:18.

In other words, we become more conscious of the supernatural (spiritual) than the natural (physical). Then the supernatural would become our reality. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Cor 4:18.

FEAR FACTOR
A man was climbing a mountain getting to the apex he slipped, as he was falling be struggled to take hold of the straw on the mountain base.  In that height he dangles on the air, not knowing what else to do in that precarious situation he cried unto his God in the greatest wonder God showed up. “Thank you my God is here” he said to God “please save me, my hands are paining me” he concludes, “I will love to help you my son, but I am restricted, I can’t help you” replied God.  Why my God? He continued, “Because you are holding unto the straw,” God replied, “If you want me to help you let go off the straw then I will catch you in the air” concluded God:  In that instant the man still hanging and dangling looked down and saw the depth of the step end of the mountain being so afraid he said, “my God, I will die”. “You will have to be convinced in my ability to help you son” replied God, “trust my words for I can’t lie, and believe in my love for you and my presence around you is real and not an illusion” concluded God, the man not so sure whether God was there for real relied on the consciousness of the straw at hand, after all they say, a bird at hand worth’s two in the bush.  As the minute became hours, hours, days, he grew tired and fell from that height and died even before the Lord his God.

Until you become sincere with your convictions, truly you can never put your trust in anything or worst still believe in anything.

Fear is faith in the opposite because you fear what you are convinced will happen, even with your long prayers and boasts, you can’t change the situation. Your heart is that integral part of you that never lies.

The conclusion of the matter: – It is what you are convinced of, or have faith in that gives you the audacity to trust, trust is blindly committing yourself to something, you don’t see to trust; you enter a car, bus, air plane, even sit down on a chair because you are convinced that the driver, pilot or that the chair can carry you even without test running it first.  So it should be for you to trust in the ability, capability and capacity of God’s power, you must first be convinced that God is real, that  indeed he is there with you even without seeing.  Therefore, you must be conscious of his divine presence around you.  Belief is simply your stand in life, that is, what you are willing at all times to die for or stake your life for. Also what you consider more than your life.

It takes a man who is convinced in a course to commit his life in it and is ready to die on his stand for the course.  A man whom the word of God is his reality,is more conscious of what the word said about a matter than other views or reports in life, like doctor’s report, conventional beliefs, life challenges etc. “But none of these things move me, neither count my life dear unto myself so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have relieved of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” Act 20:24

Random Bible verse

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
