Mera Owili releases live rendition of her hit single “Nana-owei Mbana”; an ijaw phrase which means “God thank you”.
Nana-owei mbana is a song birthed from a heart of thanksgiving. Sometimes as humans, we get so disappointed and ungrateful to God when we pray for material things like houses and cars, and we don’t receive. We fail to realise that everything we truly need in life, God has actually given to us for free, so we should say “Nana-owei Mbana”; in gratitude to God all the days of our lives.
Mera Owili is a songwriter and worship leader, uniquely gifted with a prolific and anointed voice. She’s an unapologetic follower of Jesus Christ, who is committed to taking the gospel to the ends of the earth with her music.
