Award winning gospel singer, Frank Edwards, is all set to perform at the grand finale of the reality show, God’s Children Great Talent, put together by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Apapa, Lagos. The event is set to hold in Lagos.

In order to get to the grand finale, over the past four months, series of auditions; quarter and semi finals events have held in various Apapa Family parishes in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States of America.

Speaking to Saturday Beats about the event, Pastor Bimbo Ozomah who is a trustee of GCGT Trust and a member of the organising team, said, “God’s Children’s Great Talent is a credible platform provided to help identify early talents in children. These talents are then honed for the greater good of the child and the society.”

Pastor Idowu Iluyomade; Head of Apapa Family, explained that the vision of the initiative is to engage children/teens in a positive way, using their talents to glorify God and provide a credible platform for the celebration of talent in God’s children.

“God’s Children’s Great Talent was borne out of a desire to identify and nurture the diverse talents available in children across the Province.

“We are delighted that multinational brands such as Cadbury Bournvita, Stanbic IBTC, First Bank, Airtel, and various others have identified with this project.”

The event will also have ministrations from popular gospel acts such as Rachel Kerr, Mike Abdul, Nosa, Freke and others. Another highlight of the programme will be the launch of the single by one of the 2014 winners. Judges at the grand finale include Joke Silva, Sarah Boulous of the Society of Performing Arts of Nigeria, Dan Forster, Mosa, Ben Ogbeiwi, Wole Oni, Titi Masha Rachel Kerr and other key personalities
