The man of faith, Bishop Olaniyi David Oyedepo who has now become the envy of many is a principled man with humble beginning.
According to his autobiography, he was led to Christ by a missionary teacher, Miss Betty Lasher on the 19th of February 1969.
He was brought up by his grandmother, Mrs Racheal Adeyiola Odetundun in Kwara state.
Bishop Oyedepo’s father, Pa Abraham went to be with the Lord at age 102 in 2004.
Bishop Oyedepo’s mum, Mrs Dorcas Morenike Oyedepo died in 2011 at age 97; she worked as a Sanctuary Keeper at her son’s ministry until her death.
