The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) South-south chapter on Thursday, held a grand reception and interdenominational church service in honour of the immediate past National President of the association, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor.
The reception took place at the Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, Delta State by CAN South South zone.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is among the dignitaries who attended the ceremony with with some traditional rulers from across the South South states, including the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom, HRM Ovie Richard Ogbon, Oghoro 1 in attendance.
Top Christian leaders including the current CAN National President, Dr Sampson Ayokunle, Prof Joseph Otubu (CAN National Vice President) Bishop Felix Omobude (National President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria), Archbishop God-do-well Avwomakpa, Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi, Rev. Gideon Oyibo and Archbishop Solomon Gbakara were also present.
Pastor Oritsejafor, who is the celebrant read the only lesson from Psalm 124:1-8.
