Bamike Oba Adeyemi, popularly known as OBA is pleased to announce that her sophomore album, AKODA, originally released in 2012, is available now to download/stream on all major digital platforms worldwide.
The digital re-release of the 10-year-old project comes a few weeks ahead of OBA’s 50th birthday celebration concert and brand-new album launch scheduled to hold in December.
AKODA is an uplifting 12-track album that emphasizes the awesome power of God. The LP perfectly captures OBA’s signature sound and distinctive vocals as she finely blends Afro-Jazz, worship music, and poetry for a classic body of work. It also features a guest appearance from renowned worship leader, Nathaniel Bassey, on the 12th track – “Lord I Need You”.
OBA who refers to herself as a multi-influential expressionist, is a professional musician, singer-songwriter, recording artist, certified leadership coach, speaker, author, and music coach.
With over 20 years of music experience, OBA is one voice to be reckoned with. The way she fluently flows in her native dialect and English describes her burning passion to be a bridge between Divinity and humanity using music as a tool.
