Affection just as the title is, is a song that pours out a heartfelt love to God. For there is no one we should ever desire than our Groom in the person of Jesus Christ. Golibe recounts how the inspiration of this song came – “It was a hot afternoon and I was cooking for Mama Jennifer Nlem (yes cooking, am also a chef and an event planner) it was either for jubilant choir party or a thank you party for the workers at the just concluded praise and worship service hosted by Jennie when I heard that voice say to me ‘I love you even if you don’t serve me, I will always be here for you even if you don’t acknowledge me because I love you son’. Just like a flash the lyrics of AFFECTION chorus dropped and I started singing to the tune I was hearing in my heart. Fast forward, later in the day, I shared the view with Jennie and John Benard Odiba. Benard immediately took to the piano and we got a demo for the song while Jennie quickly developed it into verses. AFFECTION may not sound like your regular music but prayerfully sing this song and you must have a testimony”
