Thanky Raymond releases the new single EP titled “All Round Rest”; off the EP, he offers the track “Abu Otito” (Song of Praise) for free download.
The 5-track EP is a collection of Worship songs but has its theme centered around one of the pillars of the kingdom life – Rest. Thanky Raymond posits, through the theme, that the rest which God offers us through acknowledgment and yielding, ushers us into times of refreshing, and this births a state of worship.
The title of the EP is taken from track 3, a mid-tempo Afrocentric tune on the collection.
Raymond, alongside the EP release, also gives out track one “Abu Otito” for free download. The single which lifts up praises to God and sings in the Igbo dialect adopts the style of hymn or psalm. It also features singer Uju Val.
