Gospel soul singer Nikki Laoye is set to host her own radio show on Nigeria’s first online gospel radio station, PraiseWorld Radio.

It was gathered that the show which the singer titles ‘Girls Rock with Nikki Laoye’ is a 2-hour weekly radio show dedicated to ‘projecting the impact being made by young women of faith in the world of entertainment, arts and business with major emphasis on Nigeria, as well as references from the African and international scene’.

According to the singer, ‘Lots of women are doing great works out there but no one is giving them the recognition and support they deserve and that’s what the show is primarily about’.

Nikki, an award-winning gospel artiste, isn’t new to broadcasting. Years ago, she hosted a TV show, ‘New Breeze Show’ which created a platform for interaction between celebrities and youths via interviews and hang-out programs which aired on Silverbird Television.
