Text – 1 Timothy 1:18
These prophecies were declared over Timothy so he could wage a good warfare. The prophecies served as a weapon for him to fight with and hold onto on God’s side. A lot of people do not understand the difference between the Jews, Gentiles and the Church. The first set of people God related to were Gentiles. The Church is not a building, but a set of people.
Words don’t die. Jacob spoke over all his sons and everything he said concerning them came to pass, even after his death. You can call things forth just by speaking. This is the side of God that gives you dominion on Earth. What you know could be what is affecting you. The moment you die, your body doesn’t go anywhere but your spirit does. It is appointed unto man to die once. You’ve already been sealed in Christ by reason of His death.
A prophecy over a Jewish person is different from a prophecy over a new creation child of God. As a new creation, God speaks through your spirit man. You must understand the function of a prophet in your life. In the Old testament, people didn’t have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside them. When a prophet tells you something, your spirit ought to bear witness with what he says. Whatever is prophesied over you is supposed to resonate on your inside as a form of confirmation of what the prophet is saying.
You never come to the realisation of who you really are by attending church once in a while. You need to constantly feed yourself with God’s word so that your profiting may appear unto all. Stop seeing yourself “situationally”. When you came into Christ, your identity changed to that of Christ’s. Anytime the devil told you that you are a failure, he lied. Begin to see yourself “revelationally”. Your fasting and prayers doesn’t change God’s mind towards you, it only grants you access to what has already been made available to you. Not every word edifies or builds you up. Only the word of grace can build you up. When you are built up, your inheritance is handed over to you.
You are supposed to be able to love God more and do greater exploits after these 12 days of Glory because you’ve been granted access to your inheritance. God gives His word which serves as Grace. The fact that God has said something over you does not mean the devil will not stir the storm. Sometimes, it may seem like God is quiet over your situation but really, the rest of the assignment is yours to finish. Grace is what God has made available to you and Faith is what you do to access what has been made available to you. You need to rise and speak to that storm because Grace has already been made available to you. Faith without corresponding action is dead. It is time to begin to take steps. Any system that teaches you to depend on someone else is not of God. God does not give money but He gives the anointing and power to enable you get money. What do you have? What problem are you solving? You’ve got something inside of you.
Run with it! There are wealth that are yet to be discovered and you’ve got the ability to create them. Stop being narrow-minded; there’s more! Expand your capacity. If you do not know what you’re expecting, it’s possible for you to walk right past it. Never allow your blessing bypass you because you’re expecting something less. You are a solution to the world. Never allow the enemy put you in a box. Eternity has been hidden inside of you.
If you need to change your circle of friends and people who speak into your life, then do so. Don’t allow anything hinder you. God is set to make you do undeniable exploits this year. He stops where you stop. Refuse to settle. It’s time to make that move. Shut all doors to your adversary. It’s time to embrace a new concept.
