The festival of life programme was put together by The Redeemed Christian Church headed by Pastor Enoch Adeboye of Nigeria, who is also the General Overseer.
The event which was themed “The Sovereign God” was held at the Excel Centre London on the 19th of April 2013.
The Excel saw thousands of people flooding the venue to experience the presence of God, with many using social media networks to express their excitement about being ministered to by International gospel artist Sonnie Badu.
Sonnie Badu opened the programme with intense worship and created an atmosphere that set the ball rolling for the 10 hour programme. The General as he is widely known did not disappoint and kept everyone in the place on their feet during his ministration. He lead the praise and worship powerfully with the support of the RCCG festival of life mass choir which was 200 people strong.
The sensational gospel singer later ministered some of his well known hits with his band, including 1 hit in a Nigerian dialect which Wowed the audience. Sonnie Badu has yet again managed to give his music lovers something to talk about right after launching his online radio station “iWorship Radio” (www.theworshipradio.com), which has been the talk of town just after a few days of being launched.
