NEW RELEASE

[AUDIO] ‘Ephphatha’ – Joanna

Joanna, a Gospel singer originally from Nigeria but currently based in the United States, is set to release a new single on August 12, 2023. This upcoming release will be available on all major social media platforms.

Residing in the United States alongside her family, Joanna draws her inspiration for the song “Ephphatha” from a series of persistent battles and unceasing prayers on the altar of fervent devotion. The song emerged as she continuously sought God’s presence in the realm of prayer, leading to victorious shouts and expressions of joy.

“Ephphatha,” an Aramaic term meaning “Be opened,” was used by Jesus in the book of Mark 7:34. In the Gospel, Jesus used this word to heal a deaf man. The song carries the essence of this miraculous opening and signifies the power of divine intervention.

Incorporating the Aramaic term, the song seeks to open closed doors in the lives of listeners. It signifies a season of transformation, with closed doors being swung open by the same power that resurrected Jesus from the dead. The act of seeking God’s presence and singing this song becomes a declaration for breakthroughs and evidence of His grace.

Aside from her musical pursuits, Joanna is a devoted mother, wife, deaconess in the Living Faith Church (Winners’ Chapel), entrepreneur, and songwriter.

Random Bible verse

But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
