Gospel music saxophonists currently making waves in the music industry, Oguntoyinbo John Ayobami, popularly known and referred to as Ola Olu Sax has just released a new track titled “Beyond Expectation”; a soul-lifting and inspirational piece composed under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and produced by Engineer Shola Williams.

Ola Olu Sax is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Lagos (Unilag). His musical journey began in 2003, and he is now a full-fledged gospel artist. Currently working alongside Pastor Kunle Ajayi, a well-known saxophonist in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ola Olu Sax is also one of the saxophonists in the Redemption Camp choir.

Reflecting on his journey, Ola Olu Sax shared that he has been passionate about meeting and playing like Pastor Kunle Ajayi since he first heard him on the radio and witnessed him perform live in the Redemption Camp. His prayers were answered, and he is now one of Pastor Kunle Ajayi’s horn men, also serving as one of his back-ups. Additionally, he ministers alongside Pastor Kunle Ajayi in the Redemption Camp choir.

As a full-time gospel music minister with a natural love for music, Ola Olu Sax’s genre is pure gospel and inspirational music. He sings various styles, including Rock, Highlife, Calypso, Juju music, etc. His role models include Pastor Kunle Ajayi, BJ Sax, and Dami Bekes. He expressed a desire to feature them in his songs, along with mummy Tope Alabi, Dunsin Oyekan, and Nathaniel Bassey, hoping to release covers of their songs to contribute to the music industry soon.

Ola Olu Sax has already done praise songs involving some of these artists and has just released his latest music titled “Beyond Expectation.”
