[VIDEO + AUDIO] 'Oba Aseyitowu' – Wumi

Wumi, a Nigerian American international recording artist, who currently resides in Atlanta – Georgia, has blessed us with two amazing albums; “Praise Restored” and “Be Lifted”.

If you have been following Wumi, you are no stranger to the voice that captivates the soul.

With her first two projects garnering international attention and award nominations she has set her sights on going further with the vision that God has placed in her heart. As she begins working on her next project, she has given us a teaser with a new record, “Oba Aseyitowu”.

“Oba Aseyitowu” means “The God Who does what he pleases”; this song gives honour to God for every turn around he has done in our lives. If you are someone who has a story of God lifting you up from a dark place, this song will be your anthem, not only that, the official video also tells the story of what a lot of us have been through so it will be on repeat and you will want to share it with everybody.

“Oba Aseyitowu” also pays homage to her Nigerian heritage while drawing you into the presence of the king and in its simplest form is your testimony, …no, it’s our testimony.

Random Bible verse

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!
