Gospel music minister – Taiwo Ajayi Okpongete is out with a beautiful song of supplication titled “Shine”, as she celebrates her 40th birthday.
Taiwo Okpongete sends this gift in commemoration of her birthday with a spirit of gratitude to the Supreme One, and also to offer up prayers for the rest of life’s journey.
The song, patterned in the style of a Ballad also adopts conventional Worship music elements. Taiwo Okpongete expresses her dependency on the Most High and the need for His guidance always.
“I just want to give Glory to my Heavenly Father for His love and goodness to me over the past 40 years and to say a prayer for the rest of my long life; that He will continue to shine His face on me. Taiwo Okpongete is a singer/songwriter, actress, HR professional and a certified career coach. She has been singing for the past 20 years in different choir group in Canada and Nigeria. Her previous singles include “Ogo Re” and “Soon Coming King”. She has also worked with credible music producers such as Rotimi Keys, Jay-Dimeji Durotoye, in the past.
